Hi Randolph,

I want to thank you for the superb work you did at our place at Coopers Shoot.

What started as a scrubby north facing hill at the front of our house, ended with a superb deck, that integrated the house with the rainforest, an extraordinary rock walled pathway from the house to the deck, an extremely formal stone fire pit in the middle off the deck that contrasts with the steel and timber of the deck and new and re-engineered paths and gardens with rock walls all around the house and deck.

This was a large project costing north of $80,000.

The initial idea was to simply open the house out more to the property. The house had been surrounded by a rather restricting perimeter of rough plants. The view of the sea and the integration with the rest of the block was severely compromised.

What you have achieved is exactly what we wanted. You did the design work of the walls, paths and gardens and cleverly introduced local basalt, in both large boulder or small river-stone forms. You also did some excellent paving work with Himalayan sandstone.

The design was clever and perfectly fitting with the environment.

The workmanship was also excellent. Your stone masonry skills are strong - the basalt fire-pit is sensational. And your work with large rough stone is superb as well.

Plant selection was clever and dramatically altered the landscaping around the house. It altered a rough tea-tree type landscaping into a more formal tropical garden. The planting between the house and the deck of smaller, soft, ground covering plants has complemented both the presence of the deck and rock walls.

You also work with a very pleasant and energetic team.

Most importantly, you are extraordinarily trust worthy and you charge very fair rates. I knew what I was spending the entire time. Not one shock.

In short, you have a great eye; you are a good designer and creator; and you have exceptional execution skills that enhances the job.

I am happy to confirm these views with any prospective customers if they wish to call me.

 Warm regards

 Stephen Wyatt
